Škoda Kushaq Onyx launched with automatic transmission

Skoda has launched the new automatic transmission version of the Kushaq Onyx in the Indian market at the price of INR 13.49 lakh ex-showroom. The Skoda Kushaq Onyx was earlier available only in the manual transmission version. In addition to this, the Onyx Kushaq will now be exclusively available in the 1.0-litre TSI powertrain.

Skoda introduced the Kushaq Onyx in the Q1 of 2023 based on the market response received by Skoda. The brand also reveals that the car was added with features, with an aim to offer contentment to the customers. Now the automatic transmission option is also based customer feedback. The Onyx edition also comes with new features and claims the most affordable automatic car in its segment.

Skoda Kushaq Onyx – Exterior Features

The Skoda Kushaq Onyx comes with features such as Skoda Crystalline LED headlamps with DRLs. In addition to this, the Kushaq Onyx also comes with front fog lamps with the static cornering function improving the safety aspect of the SUV. The Skoda Kushaq also comes with rear wiper and defogger improving the visibility of the driver. Also, the Kushaq Onyx comes with Tecton wheel covers and Onyx badging on the B-pillars.

Skoda Kushaq Onyx – Interior Features

On the inside, the Kushaq Onyx features Skoda’s Climatronic, an automatic climate control system with a touch panel. The automatic transmission options Onyx also comes with Hill Hold Control and paddle shifters. The SUV also comes with a 2-spoke multifunction steering wheel with leather wrapping and a chrome scroller. The Kushaq Onyx also comes with scruff plates in the front with an ‘Onyx’ inscription. The Kushaq Onyx also comes with Onyx-themed cushions and textile mats as standard. Also, the Skoda Kushaq Onyx also comes with 6-airbags as standard.

Powering the Skoda Kushaq Onyx AT is the venerable 1.0-litre TSI turbo-charged three-cylinder petrol engine. The engine develops 115 PS of power and 178 Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
