Skoda Auto Volkswagen India sold 1,01,270 cars in 2022

2022 has been a big year for ŠKODA AUTO Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL). Backed by the overwhelming sales performance of its five Group brands and the resounding success of its Made-in-India models. ŠKODA AUTO Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) clocked a phenomenal growth with 1,01,270 units sold this year. The export figure stood at 33,397 units. Sales were up 86 per cent year-on-year when compared to 2021. Continuing with its aggressive product offensive, the Group added 20+ model updates across its five brands. These are ŠKODA, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, and Lamborghini.

The significant growth across the Brands reflects the Group’s popularity.  Robust demand and record-breaking sales are a testimony to the success story of SAVWIPL. With challenges around the ongoing chip shortage and increasing input costs continued. SAVWIPL is re-calibrating and taking action with agility and speed to minimise the impact of these. The Made-in-India models are rapidly gaining popularity and universal recognition across the market. The model speaks for their world-class quality, robustness and stylish designs. With new and updated models the Group is venturing into new customer segments and markets.
