German manufacturer of rolling element bearings for industrial, automotive and aerospace industry, Schaeffler India has announced the launch of its new lubricant product range under the Schaeffler TruPower brand through their Automotive Aftermarket division. The TruPower brand comes with products such as engine oil, transmission oil, grease, coolant, hydraulic oil and shock absorber oil. The TruPower marque boasts to provide its customers with quality as well as value for money.
The TruPower lubricants have been formulated to enhance performance, improve efficiency and longevity of both petrol and diesel engines and are offered in a variety of convenient packages at authorized dealerships across the country. The new range of lubricants also covers the latest BS6/Euro5 compliant standard engines. The range of lubricants also use the same expertise that is used in the manufacturing of Schaeffler’s brands, i.e. LuK, INA & FAG. The new BS6 compliant range offers increased performance and non-stop protection required to extends the life of engines and transmissions.
Schaeffler employees nearly 2900 people and has its manufacturing plants in Maneja and Savli in Gujarat that makes a variety of ball bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, spherical roller bearings and wheel bearings which are sold under the FAG brand name. Under the INA marque, Schaeffler manufactures engine and powertrain components for the front accessory drive system, chain drive systems, valve train, gear shift systems and a range of needle roller bearings at its plant in Talegaon, Pune. Under the LuK brand name, the company produces clutches and hydraulic clutch release systems for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, heavy commercial vehicles and tractors at the manufacturing facility in Hosur.
Schaeffler has been present in India for over 50 years and with the 4 above-mentioned manufacturing plants along with 13 sales offices. The brand is one of the largest Industrial and Automotive supplier with sales of INR 43.6 billion in 2019.
