Royal Enfield sold 67,677 motorcycles in March 2022

Royal Enfield has posted its sales figure for March 2022. The two-wheeler maker sold a total of 67,677 units for the given month. The same for March 2021 stood at 66,058 units. In the international market, Royal Enfield continues its exceptional run. With an all-time high export figure of 81,032 units, the growth rate is more than 100 per cent for FY 2021. In the domestic market, the two-wheeler maker is making steady progress after the opening up of businesses post Covid-19. In an effort to become the first premium global consumer brand from India, Royal Enfield has set up firm strategic plans.

Sales Report in Detail

For the domestic market, Royal Enfield posted a total sales of 58,477 units for March 2022. Meanwhile, for the same period last year, the figure stood at 60,173 units, thus resulting in a growth of – 3 per cent. In terms of export, Royal Enfield posted a total sales of 9,200 units, up from 5,885 units for the same period last year. This marks a growth of 56 per cent. All in all, for March 2022, accounting for both Domestic sales and export, the two-wheeler maker posted a total sales of 67,677 units, as against 66,058 units for March 2021.

Key Highlights For Royal Enfield

Recently, Royal Enfield launched its first-ever ADV crossover in the form of the Scram 411. This motorcycle is the perfect amalgamation of high altitude adventurer DNA with authentic scrambler vibes. Royal Enfield will market the product to both Indian as well as global audiences. The motorcycle maker confirmed that immediate retail availability in India with Europe and Asia Pacific markets debuts is planned by mid of this year.

To commemorate 120 years of existence, Royal Enfield launched the 120th Anniversary Edition models of the 650 Twins. This was a limited edition both, of which only 480 units went on sale. This included 120 units allotted to India, Europe, America, and South-East Asia each. Royal Enfield also successfully concluded the BSF Seema Bhawani Shaurya Expedition Empowerment Ride – 2022. This saw the rider travel from New Delhi to Kanyakumari to Chennai.
