Royal Enfield has announced a collaboration with Sena, a leader in motorcycle Bluetooth communication devices, to launch the new co-branded 50S Mesh Communicator. This partnership celebrates the success of Royal Enfield’s Super Meteor 650 cruiser.
Features of the 50S Mesh Communicator
The 50S Mesh Communicator is designed to provide seamless communication between riders. It features advanced mesh technology, Bluetooth 5, and audio components developed in collaboration with Harman Kardon. The device can connect up to 24 riders via its group mesh intercom system, with a range of 2 km to a maximum of 8 km. The 50S is also equipped with voice commands, waterproofing, and a battery life of up to 12 hours.
Compatibility and Connectivity
The 50S Mesh Communicator can be retrofitted to most helmets on the market, making it accessible to a wide range of riders. It supports internet connectivity through SENA’s Wave technology, which automatically switches between mesh and VoIP modes to maintain seamless communication. The device also allows for smartphone connectivity, enabling riders to stay connected with music, calls, and other essentials.
Market Impact and Pricing
Priced at INR 35,990, the 50S Mesh Communicator is competitively priced within Sena’s portfolio of intercom devices. The collaboration between Royal Enfield and Sena is expected to attract motorcycle enthusiasts who value enhanced communication and connectivity during their rides.
