Royal Enfield reveal 838cc, V-Twin ‘Concept KX’ Bobber motorcycle

Paying tribute to an iconic 1930s Royal Enfield motorcycle, the brand has revealed a new ‘Concept KX’ model at the EICMA show in Milan. This bike for now, the Concept KX, as the name suggests is just a concept. However you get an idea of what the brand has in mind in terms of design and body style for their upcoming model.

Royal Enfield will soon launch the 650cc Interceptor and Continental GT in India. After that, this Bobber model could be next in line.

While the 1930s motorcycle was a massive 1140cc, V-Twin engined model with air-cooling and side valve, the new 2018 Concept KX from Royal Enfield on stage had an 838cc engine. Of course, this one too was a twin. But, if at all this bike, or body style makes it to the showrooms, we are hoping that it could carry on with the new 650cc engine which is ready to make a debut in our market.

The Concept KX sported LED headlamp with DRL, LED tail lamp, dual exhausts, single seat, teardrop fuel tank, digital dash, machine finished alloy wheels, contrast detailing, unique front forks, front and rear Brembo brakes, massive bash plate, black and gold engine detailing, and the likes.

The Concept KX though is a fantastic reimagination of the 30s motorcycle, and we really hope Royal Enfield brings this closer to reality. And with better quality than their current crop.
