Royal Enfield launches touring accessories for 650 Twins

Royal Enfield recently introduced the 2021 Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650, but the updates were only in the colour department. The brand is now rolling out new accessories for the 2021 Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 in India which includes new options for luggage along with other comfort and convenience parts.

Accessories for Royal Enfield Twins

The motorcycle will get side pannier mounts along with saddlebags to carry luggage on those long highway trips. The pannier mounts are sleek in design and do not look out of place as well. The brand is also offering a new seat with a quilted pattern that will provide enhanced comfort to the rider and passenger on long journeys. The seat options also include a standard touring dual seat and touring seat with ribbed styled stitching. The motorcycles also come with a range of other accessories such as windscreen visors, sump guards, crash guards, handlebar brace pads, single-seat cowls and other machined aluminium parts. All the accessories come with a 2-year warranty from the factory.

2021 New Colours For Interceptor 650 & Continental GT 650

The Interceptor 650 now comes with Canyon Red and Ventura Blue in a single tone, Downtown Drag and Sunset Strip in dual-tone and a new Mark 2 Chrome. The Continental GT 650 features Rocker Red in a single tone, a new British Racing Green, Dux Deluxe and Ventura Storm in dual-tone colour and a new Mister Clean chrome variant. The brand has also added the black-out rims option on the single-tone Interceptor 650 model which was only available in the dual-tone trim earlier.

Powertrain

Powering the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 is the same air/oil-cooled, 648cc 4-valve per cylinder parallel-twin SOHC motor with twin throttle bodies and a Bosch fuel injection system that produces 47 BHP of power and 52 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper assist clutch.
