Royal Enfield Hunter 350 continues road testing

Royal Enfield has been extensively testing its upcoming roadster in the Indian market. The motorcycle is likely to be dubbed the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, as per reports from the Indian intellectual property office. The brand is likely to launch the new Hunter motorcycle soon in the Indian market, which will compete with the likes of the newly launched Yezdi Scrambler and the Honda CB 350RS. The latest spy shots of the Hunter 350 reveal that the motorcycle could be in the final testing stages.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 – Spyshots

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 still wear a camouflage suit hiding important details of the bike. However, the images reveal the new motorcycle’s silhouette and the design language. New spy shots reveal a retro-classic design language with a teardrop fuel tank, rounded headlamps, and rounded LED taillamps. The motorcycle will also come with rounded mirrors and turn indicators. The motorcycle will come with a sporty appeal thanks to the dark themed engine and running gear. The bike also features a short and stubby exhaust which is also likely to be finished in a matte black shade.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 – Features

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will come with features such as USB charging and Royal Enfield’s Tripper navigation system. The instruments cluster on the Hunter 350 is also likely to come with multiple features and could be a semi-digital system. The rider will also be able to pair the dashboard with Royal Enfield’s application using Bluetooth technology.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 – Technical Speculations

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is likely to come with the latest J1D platform. The new platform made its debut with the Meteor 350 and also underpins the latest generation Royal Enfield Classic 350. The motorcycle is also likely to share the same powertrain as the Meteor and Classic, which come with a 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor with special oil-cooling channels integrated into the cylinder head. The OHC engine on the Classic and Meteor produce 20.2 Hp of power and 27 Nm of torque and is matched to a 5-speed gearbox.

Royal Enfield is likely to launch the new Hunter 350 in the first half of 2022.
