Written by Nizam Shaikh

Rolls-Royce has revealed the new iteration of the Dawn, the Rolls-Royce Dawn ‘Silver Bullet’ in sketches. The Dawn Silver Bullet will be a limited edition two-seater car with only 50 examples sold worldwide. The Rolls Royce Dawn Silver Bullet is a contemporary interpretation of the 1920s roadsters.

The Roll-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet features the classic cuts and crease lines of the Dawn along with the sleek convertible roof that is capable of silently folding away in 22 seconds with the touch of a button, but alternatively of the 4-seater convertible that offers more luxurious chrome and wood, the two-seater Silver Bullet edition features a dark theme inside out.

On the exterior, the Silver Bullet comes with a dark chrome Pantheon grille, black inserts on the bumper, black inserts on the headlight which is the first time that we have seen on a Rolls-Royce, a black spinal embellishment on the hood, black alloy wheels, black embellishment on the rear deck, black number plate holder and black bezel around the tail lamps etc.

The car carries forward features such as the adaptive headlights, the Spirit of Ecstasy, infra-red night-vision camera, the sweeping shoulder lines, coach styled doors etc from the standard Dawn. The new Dawn Silver Bullet also comes with a silver central spine that runs back from the cabin enhancing the two-seater layout. The Dawn Silver Bullet also gets Aero Cowling behind the driver and passenger intensifying the overall silhouette of the roadster. The cowlings are likely to have strengthening structures and lockable storage spaces built into them.

On the inside, the dark theme continues with materials like open-pored carbon fibre on the dashboard along with soft-touch leather, a quilted leather central tunnel with a rotary selector, contoured leather seats, a Heads-up Display, analogue instrumentation etc.

The Silver Bullet is likely to carry forward the engine from the Rolls Royce Dawn which is powered by a 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged 12-cylinder engine configured in V pattern that can produce 571 hp of power capable of doing a top speed of 250 kmph.

The two-seater layout along with the 50 units exclusivity is likely to command a premium price over the standard model.
