Renault Triber MPV to ride on Ceat tyres

One of the leading tyre manufacturers in the Indian and global markets, CEAT has announced its association with Renault for their new car ‘ Triber’ that has been unveiled in a global premiere today. The Triber falls in the sub-4-metre MPV category and CEAT will be the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) for the Triber with its CEAT ‘Fuelsmart’ tyres specially configured for this car category. The tyres are designed to work in both dry and wet weather conditions and add to the comfort of the passengers by providing low road noise.

The Fuelsmart tyres for the Renault Triber come with interlocked blocks that have optimum stability deformation for improved stability. The Fuelsmart tyres will be available in the 165/80R14 size. The tyres are designed for better grip and fuel efficiency by providing low rolling resistance. The Fuelsmart tyres are first of its kind in the 14-inch category and are made with a new generation compound with functionalized polymer along with optimized tread patterns to ensure that the tyres provide low rolling resistance.

CEAT was established in India in the year 1958 and has made its presence in the domestic and international markets. The brand produces over 15 million tyres a year and offers the widest range of tyres to various manufacturers and segments of vehicles such as cars, motorcycles and scooters, auto-rickshaws, light commercial vehicles, heavy-duty trucks and buses, earthmovers, forklifts, tractors and trailers.

CEAT had also partnered with Renault for the launch of their Hatchback KWID, in the past.
