Renault India has kicked off the new year with a significant announcement: a standard 3-year or 1,00,000 km warranty across all its models. This new warranty policy, effective from January 1, 2025, covers mechanical and electrical failures, including defects in material, workmanship, or manufacturing.
New Warranty Coverage
The move is aimed at providing customers with greater peace of mind and confidence in Renault’s vehicles. In addition to the standard warranty, Renault India has also introduced an extended warranty program. Customers can now opt for extended coverage of up to 7 years with no kilometre cap. The extended warranty options include 4 years/1,00,000 km, 5 years/1,20,000 km, 6 years/1,40,000 km, and 7 years/unlimited km.
Both the standard and extended warranties come with complimentary 24×7 Roadside Assistance, including accident-related towing services. This initiative is expected to strengthen Renault India’s position in the competitive automotive market by addressing the growing demand for comprehensive ownership packages. The price of the new extended packages will be available at Renault Dealerships.
Warranty Inclusions
The new warranty policy applies to all Renault models, including popular ones like the Renault Kwid, Triber, and Kiger. The Renault Kwid, for instance, now offers a standard 3-year warranty, up from the previous 2-year coverage. This move ensures a smoother, hassle-free ownership experience, giving customers greater peace of mind for a longer period.
Renault’s extended warranty options are designed to cater to diverse customer needs. For those who hold onto their vehicles for the long haul, the extended warranty plans provide long-term confidence and protection. This initiative is a testament to Renault’s confidence in its products and its customer-focused approach.
With the introduction of the standard 3-year warranty and extended warranty options, Renault India aims to make car ownership worry-free and rewarding. The company’s commitment to providing comprehensive coverage and support is expected to attract more customers and enhance their overall ownership experience.
