Renault car’s upcoming price hike details

As per the latest release shared by the French car brand Renault, it will soon hike the prices of all three models. The latest price is set to go live from April 1, across India.

The reason behind the price increase is the increment in the input costs. As per the company, it has been absorbing the consistently increasing input costs for a long but now it can not sustain itself.

As of now, the exact details of the price hike have not been revealed, but the maximum price increase will be up to 2 per cent, depending on the car model and variant.

Meanwhile, the current lineup of models from Renault include the Kwid hatchback that rivals the Maruti Alto K10, the popular Kiger compact SUV which is a spinoff version of the Nissan Magnite, and the Triber MPV.

Additionally, to attract more customers in tier-1 cities, Renault introduced a CNG kit option on all of its models recently. Moreover, the company is also working on the facelift version of the Kiger C-SUV, which is destined to debut by late 2025.
