Ahead of the latest Red Bull showrun in Mumbai on March 12, 2023, the company has showcased the RB7 Formula 1 car in Mumbai.
Red Bull RB7 : More Details
This RB7 is the Formula 1 racing car designed and run by the Red Bull Racing team. The car was used in the 2011 Season. The car was piloted by defending champion Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber.
Red Bull first launched this car at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain on 1st February 2011. Sebastian Vettel has the distinction of being the first driver to ever test this car.
The car wowed everyone with its speed and was the fastest at the Barcelona testing. Further, Vettel won the inaugural race of the season at Melbourne while Webber came fifth. Infact, the car managed to stay in the top five positions in 17 out of the 19 races. The only instances the car bowed out of the race was when Mark Webber crashed at the 2011 Italian Grand Prix and Sebestian Vettel retired from the 2011 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The car won the 2011 World Driver’s Championship in Japan, with the constructors win coming later at South Korea. This Formula One car will be remembered as one of the most dominant cars to ever race in the ultimate Formula racing.
The RB7 employed the controversial exhaust-blown diffuser which was later banned.
Red Bull showrun in Mumbai
Red Bull is also conducting a showrun in Mumbai on 12th March 2023. F1 winner David Coulthard will be driving the car and will wow the audience with the speed runs and other tricks.
Tickets start from INR 499 and go all the way upto INR 25,000. This will be a good opportunity for the enthusiasts to witness the spectacle of a Formula One car in front of their own eyes. Especially since the Indian GP was canned.
