ReadyAssist also plans to help its current existing mechanic partners with the funding, which will help them in setting up micro-charging stations at their home to support the electric vehicle owners across urban and rural areas. These micro charge stations will help build a wide and robust e-mobility infrastructure which will further push people to opt for electric vehicles. The company’s technology platform will coordinate with these micro-charging stations and the customers can use these stations via subscription models.

As per research reports, the electric vehicle market will likely hit 63 lakh units per annum by 2027, growing at a CAGR of 44 per cent between 2020 to 2027. Many automotive companies are already making huge investments to develop electric powertrains. Under the FAME (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles) scheme, the Government of India is also pushing the citizens to opt for electric vehicles by giving attractive incentives.
