Range Rover Velar prices in India reduced by up to INR 6.40 lakh

Jaguar Land Rover has reduced the price on the 2024 Range Rover Velar in the Indian market. The Range Rover Velar now comes with a starting price tag of INR 87.90 lakh ex-showroom. This now makes the Velar INR 6.70 lakh more affordable than before. The Range Rover Velar is available in only the HSE trim with two engine variants. The 2.0-litre Petrol Dynamic HSE Velar comes with a price tag of INR 87.90 lakh ex-showroom. Also, the 2.0-litre Diesel Dynamic HSE Velar comes with a price tag of INR 87.90 lakh ex-showroom.

Range Rover Velar – Features

Last year, JLR launched the facelift version of the Velar in the Indian market. The facelift model came with changes to its exteriors as well as interiors. On the outside the Velar came with pixel LED headlamps, new bumpers and a revamped tail lamp. In addition to this, the Velar also came with new LED DRLs.

On the inside, the new Velar came with a 11.4-inch curved touchscreen offering minimalistic interiors. The touchscreen is capable of controlling most functions and thus less physical buttons on the interiors. The centre console on the Velar is also redesigned and the SUV comes with the next-gen Pivi Pro infotainment system. The Velar also comes with a PM 2.5 Cabin Filter as well as active noise cancellation technology.

Range Rover Velar – Technical Specifications

Powering the Range Rover Velar is a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 246 Hp of power and 365 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the Velar also comes with a 2.0 litre diesel engine that makes 201 Hp of power and 420 Nm of torque. Both engines come paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The Velar also comes with four-wheel-drive and air suspension. The air suspension on the Velar can lower the ride height by 40mm in its ‘Elegant Arrival’ mode.
