Range Rover House now in India, luxury setting in Alibaug, on Konkan Coast

Range Rover has unveiled Range Rover House in Alibaug, marking its debut in India. This new venture brings a premium luxury experience to the Indian market and introduces locally produced Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models, exclusively for Indian customers.

Introduction of Range Rover House India

Located in the scenic coastal town of Alibaug, Range Rover House showcases the first locally manufactured Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles. This initiative is aimed at addressing the increasing demand for these luxury SUVs in India, ensuring quicker delivery times and providing a customized luxury experience tailored to Indian preferences.

The New Range Rover: Modernity and Excellence

The newly manufactured Range Rover in India comes in two variants: the 3.0 L Petrol Autobiography, offering 393 hp of power and 550 Nm of torque, and the 3.0 L Diesel HSE, delivering  346 hp of power and 700 Nm of torque. Deliveries begin today, with the Diesel HSE LWB priced at INR 2.3 crore and the Petrol Autobiography LWB at INR 2.6 crore, ex-showroom.

This model emphasizes advanced technology and luxury, featuring a 1,600 W Meridian Signature Sound System and a third-generation Active Noise Cancellation system. The vehicle also boasts Cabin Air Purification Pro for optimal air quality, All-Wheel Steering, and fully independent air suspension for a smooth, comfortable ride. The award-winning Pivi Pro infotainment system, with its large touchscreen, adds to the modern driving experience.

The Range Rover Sport: Performance and Luxury Redefined

The locally produced Range Rover Sport is available in two models: the 3.0 L Petrol Dynamic SE delivering 393 hp of power and 550 Nm of torque and the 3.0 L Diesel Dynamic SE delivering 346 hp of power and 700 Nm of torque. Deliveries for these models will start on August 16, 2024, with both priced at INR 1.4 crore, ex-showroom.

The Range Rover Sport offers a modern and sophisticated interior with advanced features such as the Pivi Pro infotainment system and a 33.27 cm haptic touchscreen. It includes Dynamic Air Suspension and Adaptive Off-Road Cruise Control for superior on-road and off-road performance. The cabin is designed to provide maximum comfort, featuring Digital LED Headlights, Adaptive Front Lighting, and Cabin Air Purification Pro.

Expanding JLR’s Presence in India

This move highlights JLR’s dedication to the Indian market. By starting local production of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, JLR aims to meet the rising demand for luxury SUVs in India. The Pune facility will continue to uphold the high-quality standards synonymous with JLR vehicles globally.
