Pre-launch bookings open for BMW Motorrad R 1250 RT

BMW Motorrad India has officially opened the pre-bookings for the much-awaited BMW R 1250 RT. As per the official schedule, the motorcycle will hit the Indian roads by May 2022. Interested customers need to visit any of BMW Motorrad’s dealerships and pre-book their motorcycle. For the convenience of customers, BMW is also offering customized financial solutions from BMW Financial Services India. Given the rising demand for touring motorcycles across the country, BMW’s R 1250 RT will make a very positive impact. BMW ensures that this motorcycle will provide both comfort and a pleasant riding experience, especially on long riding trips.

What Is the BMW R 1250 RT?

The updated motorcycle gets a Euro 5 compliant motor. And, the motorcycle is also the first in the world to get a radar-guided Active Cruise Control system. This is a very convenient feature to have and helps greatly in long touring rides. In updates, the motorcycle gets a new headlight, a 10.25-inch TFT display, and more.

Powering the motorcycle is a 1,254cc Boxer twin motor that makes 136 PS and 143 Nm. One key inclusion in the is the BMW’s ShiftCam variable valve timing and lift technology that offers extra grunt throughout the rev range. The motorcycle will have four colour shades to choose from. These are Black Storm Metallic 2, Racing Blue Metallic, Alpine White and Mineral White Metallic. The previous generation of the motorcycle came with a sticker price of INR 22.5 (ex-showroom) for the Pro variant.
