Porsche, the German luxury carmaker, has launched its electric SUV, the Macan EV Turbo, in India at a price of ₹1.65 Crores (ex-showroom).

The Macan EV Turbo is based on the Volkswagen Group’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture and is powered by a 95 kWh battery pack that delivers a range of 450 km on a single charge.
The Macan EV Turbo boasts of a stunning performance, with a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h. The SUV also features a four-wheel drive system, adaptive air suspension, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, and Porsche Active Aerodynamics. The Macan EV Turbo has a sleek and sporty design, with LED headlights, 21-inch alloy wheels, and a panoramic sunroof.
The interior of the Macan EV Turbo is spacious and luxurious, with leather seats, a 10.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, and a digital instrument cluster. The SUV also offers a host of safety and convenience features, such as lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, park assist, wireless charging, and a head-up display.
The Macan EV Turbo is Porsche’s second electric vehicle in India, after the Taycan, which was launched in March 2023. The Macan EV Turbo competes with other premium electric SUVs in the Indian market, such as the Mercedes-Benz EQC, the Jaguar I-Pace, and the Audi e-tron.
Porsche claims that the Macan EV Turbo is the most powerful and efficient electric SUV in its segment and expects to attract new customers who are looking for a sustainable and exhilarating driving experience.
