Fuel prices have been revised yet again. This time, petrol prices have been reduced while diesel prices have gone up once again. Petrol now is cheaper by Rs. 1.82 while diesel price has been hiked by 50 paise, per litre.

The petrol prices as of date are the lowest since June 2013 when it was sold for Rs. 68.58 per litre in Delhi. Apart from petrol and diesel, non-subsidised cooking gas (LPG) price has gone down by Rs. 19 per 14.2 kg cylinder. Subsidised cylinder now costs Rs. 414 per litre in Delhi. Non subsidised 14.2 kg cylinder will now cost Rs. 901 compared to the previous price of Rs. 920. Bulk diesel rates purchased by railways and defence and road transport corporations was also reduced by Rs. 1.32 per litre.
