Petrol prices have gone down by Rs. 1 / litre from today. However, the diesel price correction will have to wait till the assembly polls are completed.
This correction in prices is excluding local taxes or VAT and will be effective from midnight tonight. The price correction was to be announced tomorrow, but the authorities chose to announce it ahead of the assembly polls, sighting some positive voting in the favour of the ruling parties.
Petrol price in Delhi is now down by Rs. 1.21 litre to Rs. 66.65 pet litre.
Diesel prices are expected to drop by Rs. 2.50 / litre only after the assembly polls.
