Petrol and diesel prices have been cut yet again, effective from today. Prices have now been reduced by Rs. 2 / litre with diesel price dipping below the Rs. 60 mark.

International crude prices have been on an all-time low recently, and with deregulation of fuel, we’ve seen plenty of price cuts in the past couple of months.

New rates:

  • Delhi: Rs. 61.33 / litre of petrol and Rs. 50.51 / litre of diesel
  • Mumbai: 68.86 / litre of petrol and Rs. 57.91 / litre of diesel
  • Chennai: 63.94 / litre of petrol and Rs. 53.78 / litre of diesel
  • Kolkata: 68.55 / litre of petrol and Rs. 55.00 / litre of diesel

With reducing fuel prices, cost of other necessary commodities are also expected to come down. Hopefully, public transport cost should also be reduced in a couple of weeks.

Car manufacturers will be very happy with these constant fuel price cuts, since the customer sentiment towards the automotive sector turns to the greener side.
