Omega Seiki M1KA – Range and Battery Capacity

The M1KA 1.0 features a water-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor that delivers a peak torque of 67 Nm, designed for heavy-duty applications. It offers a range of 90 km, 120 km, and 170 km per charge with fast charging options of 10.24 kWh, 15 kWh, and 21 kWh, respectively. This feature maximizes daily trips and earnings for businesses.

Key Features

The truck boasts a high payload capacity of 850 kg, making it suitable for last-mile deliveries, small business operations, and urban logistics. It also includes fast charging and, soon, swappable battery technology. The M1KA 1.0 comes with a 5-year warranty or 1.5 lakh km, whichever comes first.

Omega Seiki has introduced attractive financing schemes to make the M1KA 1.0 more accessible to businesses. Pre-bookings for the truck are open at INR 49,999, with deliveries starting in April 2025.

The company also showcased the upcoming M1KA 3.0 model and the 2025 Stream City electric passenger vehicle at the expo. The M1KA 3.0 offers advanced features and superior range, aiming to set a new benchmark in the Indian electric truck market.

Competition

The Omega Seiki M1KA 1.0 faces competition from several established electric truck manufacturers in India. Tata Motors offers the Tata Ultra E.9 and Tata Ace EV, both known for their robust performance and advanced features. Mahindra and Mahindra has the Mahindra ZEO EV V1 and V2, which are popular for their efficiency and eco-friendly operations. Other competitors include Maruti Suzuki Super Carry and Tata Intra V10, both offering reliable electric trucks for urban logistics. These competitors provide a range of options for businesses looking for sustainable and cost-effective commercial vehicles.

With its price and variant options, the Omega Seiki M1KA poses itself as a new affordable option for fleet owners.
