Ola Electric has further slashed the pricing on the Ola S1 X electric scooter in India. The earlier price for the Ola S1 X scooter was INR 79,999 ex-showroom. Now the brand is offering the Ola S1 X with a price tag of INR 69,999 ex-showroom. This new price is available on the the Ola S1 X 2 kWh model and is introductory.
Ola S1 X – Prices
It’s not just the entry-level model that has seen the price drop. The Ola S1 X+ with the 3 kWh battery now comes with a price tag of INR 84,999 ex-showroom. This is down from the earlier INR 94,999 ex-showroom. The top-of-the-range Ola S1 X with the 4 kWh battery which was earlier priced at INR 1.10 lakh ex-showroom, now comes with a more affordable INR 99,999 ex-showroom price tag. But the S1 Air and the A1 Pro come with the same price tag as before.
Ola S1 X – Powertrain and Range
Apart from the price, there has been no changes mechanically as well as in the powertrain department. The Ola S1 x comes with a rear wheel hub integrated 2.7 kW electric motor. The 2 kWh version claims a top-speed of around 85 kmph and a range between 95/143 km on a single charge. The 3 kWh models gets a range of 151 km on a single charge. The 4 kWh battery version gets an IDC range of 190 km on a single charge. Also, the electric scooter can achieve a top speed of 90 kmph in addition to the claim of a 0-40 kmph acceleration in just 3.3 seconds.
Ola is offering a battery warranty of 8 year or 80,000 kms as standard in its Ola S1 X range of electric scooters. Ola also offers extended warranty on the electric scooters the kilometre of which can be increased to a maximum of 125,000 km but the 8-year period remains the same.
