Ola S1 electric scooter deliveries begin today

Ola Electric has announced that the brand has begun delivering the Ola S1 scooter in the Indian market. The brand, today, organised a special event for the first 100 customers in Bangalore and Chennai. Ola reveals that the customers came with their friends and family to ride their revolutionary Ola S1 and S1 Pro home. In addition to this, the brand revealed that last month the company rolled out the largest-ever direct-to-consumer

experience. Ola Electric claims that the initiative is one of the most unique experiences in the history of automotive retail. This also includes offering customer test rides across India.

Production and Deliveries

Ola Electric reveals that the brand has employed an automated scientific approach for the priority of deliveries. The automated system decides the delivery handover as per their purchase date, variant, location, colour, and other factors. The Ola Scooters are manufactured at the brand’s state-of-the-art Future factory. The brand boasts that the future factory is one of the largest, most advanced, and sustainable two-wheeler factories in the world. The Futurefactory has a full capacity of 10 million annual productions and employs around 10,000 women. 

Ola Electric S1 and S1 Pro – Overview

The Ola Electric scooter comes with a 2.9 kWh battery that powers a ‘Hyperdrive’ motor. The e-scooter produces 11 PS of power and 58 Nm of torque and achieves 0-60 kph in 7 seconds. The Ola Electric S1 claims a top speed of 90 kmph. The S1 Pro, on the other hand, features a 3.97 kWh battery. The S1 Pro comes with a top speed of 115 kmph and achieves 0-60 kmph in 5 seconds while in Hyper Mode. The Ola S1 comes with a range of 121 km on a single charge. On the other hand, the S1 Pro comes with a maximum range of 181 km on a single charge.

Ola Electric S1 and S1 Pro – Booking Open

Ola Electric has recently announced that the brand will re-open the bookings for their e-scooters on December 16th.
