Ola recently displayed its new Roadster X at the Bharat Mobility Expo where it received positive input from the audience. The new e-bike will be debuting the electric two-wheeler segment in India today. It will be offered from a starting price tag of Rs 74,999 ex-showroom.

It is based on a new platform that is also shared by the other two upcoming e-bikes from Ola, the Roadster and the Roadster Pro. It has a conventional design that looks like a futuristic commuter bike. Featuring tech like LED lights and a digital console, the Roadster X will be offered in three battery pack options – a 2.5kWh, a 3.5kWh, and a 4.5kWh.

In terms of performance, it will feature a 14.7bhp electric motor that can propel it from 0-40kmph in 2.8 seconds along with a top speed of 124kmph. The maximum riding range is 200km per charge as per the claim.

Hardware of the motorcycle includes a telescopic suspension at the front and dual shockers at the rear. It will also offer 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. Moreover, the digital screen will display all the necessary info including the battery, electric motor, speedometer, and other crucial details. Additionally, the braking duties will be done by a single disc at the front and a drum brake setup at the rear.
