Ola electric scooter prices reduced again, value for money

Ola Electric has again slashed the prices on the popular Ola scooters in India. This includes the Ola S1 Pro, Ola S1 Air and Ola S1 X+. The prices for the aforementioned models are applicable on till the end of February 2024. The Ola scooters range is now upto INR 25,000 on its ex-showroom price.

Which Ola Scooters Receive the New Price Benefit

Only the Ola S1 Pro, S1 Air and S X+ come with the reduced price. At the end of last year, Ola made the scooter affordable by INR 20,000 on the ex-showroom price. Now, the brand is making another price correction with an additional INR 5,000 off the ex-showroom price. It is also important to note that only the 3 kWh battery variants gets the new discount.

Why has Ola Reduced the Prices of its Electric Scooters

The reduction in prices of the Ola scooters is thanks to the optimisation in Ola’s manufacturing capabilities. Thanks to this the brand has been able to restructure the costs and pass on the benefits to its customers. With the new price drop, the Ola Electric scooters can be positioned alongside internal combustion engine scooters.

Ola Electric – Price

With the new price that starts at just INR 84,999 for the Ola S1X+ which was INR 1.10 lakh ex-showroom. The Ola S1 Air now comes with a price tag of INR 1.05 lakh ex-showroom. This model used to retail at INR 1.20 lakh ex-showroom. The Ola S1 Pro now comes with a price tag of INR 1.30 lakh ex-showroom which was earlier prices at INR 1,47,499 ex-showroom.

Ola Electric – Battery Warranty

Recently, Ola also started offering an 8 year or 80,000 kms battery warranty as standard. Customers can also buy an additional warranty that extends the standard warranty to 100,000 km by paying an extra amount of INR 6,999/- + GST. In addition to this, customers can also pay INR 14,999 + GST and extend the kilometre cap to 125,000 kms. However, the tenure of 8 years remains standard.
