Okinawa Concludes Monsoon Vehicle Checkup for Customers Pan India

Being one of India’s fastest emerging electric two-wheeler manufacturers, Okinawa Autotech successfully provided free vehicle maintenance and service checkup to over 9,252 customers in India. To provide guidance and detailed insights on how users can maintain the health of their scooters, the brand offered a 15-point checkup. This includes the exterior, interior, tire inspection, lubrication, an inspection of brakes & battery. The monsoon vehicle checkup also included a dry wash for the vehicles to ensure optimum performance during the rainy season.

Commencing on 29th July, customers could avail of the service at the workshop. Here Okinawa enlisted a team of technical experts for an in-depth inspection. The brand also trained its employees to handle technical problems and maintenance for electric scooters. Also, during the lock-down, the brand ensured that customers had assistance at all times. They previously introduced a toll-free number to clear the people’s misconceptions by busting all the myths about EVs.

Established in 2015, Okinawa Autotech aims to put India on the global EV map. With its products, Okinawa is the first Indian company to get a FAME II subsidy from the Government of India. Its goal is to establish itself as a “Desh ka EV” by driving the present towards a sustainable future and further propel the Government’s Make in India Initiative.

Okinawa also has an ongoing campaign with the tagline of “Ye E Sahi Hai”, outlining the advantage of EVs over their ICE-engined counterparts. This campaign has also been released in multiple regional languages like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada to cater for a wider audience. The current line-up of Okinawa products includes the iPraise+, Praise Pro, Ridge+, R30, Lite and Dual. Okinawa has also confirmed that the brand will add two more to its portfolio in the near future.
