Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), the country’s second largest car manufacturer and the largest passenger car exporter registered the domestic sales of 38,010 units and exports of 18,000 units with cumulative sales of 56,010 units for the month of October 2014.
Hyundai volumes grew by 9% over last month with increase in sales of additional and replacement buyers propelled by strong demand lead by new models like Elite i20, Xcent coupled with festival buying.
To drive in more sales numbers, Hyundai will be entering the popular crossover and compact-SUV segments next year with the Elite i20 based crossover and the ix25 compact-SUV.
