Honda F1 engine parts auction details
Honda’s racing division, the HRC (Honda Racing Corporation), has launched a new initiative called Memorilia Business. This newly introduced wing will collect and auction the iconic racing heritage car parts, including engine parts and more.
The first-ever auction will be held at the Monterey Car Week, which is scheduled for August 2025. The special bit includes the auction of the iconic Aryton Senna’s race-winning 1990 F1 car engine parts.
The RA100E engine was crafted with sheer passion and engineering prowess to power the world champion Aryton Senna’s F1 car back in the day. Later, this engine was carefully disassembled by the same engineers and preserved until now.
The same car was also used by Gerhard Berger in the 1990 F1 season. The V10 engine parts that will be auctioned include the camshafts, connecting rods, pistons, valve covers, and more. Honda will also offer signed items and limited collectables at the event.
Moreover, HRC will put these parts in the display cases and sell them along with a certificate of authenticity so that the collectors or buyers can enjoy their authentic piece of racing history.
The Memorilia Business wing will further source car parts from other iconic motorsport events including Indy Cars and more. The brand is also trying to source parts from its heritage collection to auction in the future through the Memorilia Business wing.
