Nissan will be launching the new Magnite in the Indian market on the 4th of October 2024. The brand is currently running a teaser campaign for the facelift Magnite which reveals a few details of the upcoming car. In the recent past, Nissan revealed that the upcoming Magnite facelift will come with a hexagonal mesh grille and now the company has partially revealed its taillamp.
New Taillamp Design
While the new taillamp on the Nissan Magnite appears to be similar to the outgoing model, the internals are completely new. The new taillamp also includes the Magnite word mark integrated into it. The light signatures on the rear as well as the front are likely to be new differentiating the new from the current model. Other features that are likely to differentiate the facelift could be new bumpers on the front and rear of the car.
Interiors
Nissan is also likely to offer a few changes on the inside of the new Magnite to give it a fresh look for 2024. This is likely to include some changes to the upholstery of the car as well as features added to its infotainment and instruments cluster. However, details of the interiors are scarce at the moment and will be revealed closer to its launch.
Powertrain
Expect the Nissan Magnite to be offered with the same engine and gearbox options as the current model. This means, the brand is likely to continue powering the Magnite with the 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine as well as the optional 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol motor. Gearbox options on the naturally aspirated engine are likely to be a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT which the turbocharged engine is likely to come with a 5-speed manual as well as a CVT automatic gearbox.
Competition
In the Indian market, the Magnite competes with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, the Tata Punch as well as its Renault sibling the Kiger.
