Nissan sold 58,201 cars in April 2023

Nissan Motor India Private Ltd. was embodied in 2010 serving both domestic and export markets. Its R&D center is located in Chennai. Renault, being a global alliance partner of Nissan made an investment of $1.8 billion. It employed over 70,000 employees in direct and indirect employment and skilling opportunities.

Sales Statistics of Nissan Motor India

Nissan has successfully carried out wholesale of 3,249 units. The domestic wholesales, alone comprised 2,617 units and export wholesales at 632 units. According to the statistics, Nissan’s YTD sales growth contributed 23% for FY 2022-23 with its growth in March of 8% for domestic sales and 24% in April 2023.

In order to make things easier and more comfortable for consumers, Nissan showrooms operate on a PHYGITAL (physical+digital) platform. A convenient experience for those who participate in commerce in both physical and digital places i.e., online and offline modes of payment.

Customer Touchpoints

With 2 showrooms and workshops in Karnal (HR) and Khammam (Telangana), Nissan increased its customer touch points in April 2023. Nissan is further seen continuously growing in India with the addition of new touchpoints totalling 267. With more showrooms, Nissan will aim to sell to more customers thus boosting the sales.

Nissan Magnite was recently launched in Seychelles, Bangladesh, Uganda and Brunei. With relocating its primary export market from Europe to Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait. Post implementation of BS6 Stage 2 emission coming into force on April 1, 2023, Nissan unveiled a BS6 Stage 2 RDE-complaint version of Magnite which has a GNCAP 4.0 rating with best-in-class safety features. Nissan Magnite will rival the likes of Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, etc.

Nissan’s popular Magnite now comes with a powerful HRA0 1.0L turbo engine. It provides an effortless and smooth driving experience with its HRA0 X-Tronic CVT. 999cc, 3-cylinder, automatic and CVT engine producing 152Nm torque at 2200-4400rpm.
