Nissan sold 10,759 cars in September 2023

Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has reported robust wholesales for September 2023, underscoring significant year-over-year (YOY) growth of 48 per cent compared to the previous year’s corresponding period. Of particular note, export wholesales reached an impressive 8,305 units, marking the highest figure in the past four years. This highlights the substantial progress since achieving the milestone of 1 million export units in 2022. September witnessed a notable surge in export wholesales, with a remarkable increase of 3,494 units compared to the same month in the previous fiscal year. On the domestic front, the company reported 2,454 units in wholesale.

Nissan India’s Expansion Spree

Moreover, in addition to its export success, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. has actively expanded its footprint in the domestic market. Recently, the company extended its network to encompass 276 touchpoints across key regions in India, including Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, and Gujarat.

One of the standout performers in Nissan Motors India’s product portfolio is the Nissan Magnite. This compact SUV has become a cornerstone of Nissan’s presence in India. The significance of the Nissan Magnite is further highlighted by its designation as the Official Car of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. The vehicle has also been extending its global reach, with exports to 15 countries worldwide, including recent market entries in Seychelles, Bangladesh, Uganda, and Brunei.

In a strategic move, the company has shifted its primary export focus from Europe to Middle Eastern countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait, reflecting a keen understanding of market dynamics and opportunities.
