Nissan is on an expansion spree for its global product lineup, including the EVs. One such product, which is a new addition, is the Micra EV, which has been revealed recently. Check its complete details below.

Nissan Micra Electric – What to expect?

Revealed globally, the upcoming Micra is going to be a city-friendly car that will be based on an electric platform. This platform has been co-developed with Renault, and it will also house the new-gen Renault 5.

While both models will share the chassis and mechanical parts, the design language of the Micra EV is distinguished by special elements like the circular LED lights and a smiling face design.

Nissan has tried to stay true to its predecessor models of the Micra moniker with the latest EV. The Micra EV holds simplicity and elegance while offering a spacious cabin with advanced features.

Meanwhile, Nissan has not revealed the cabin and feature details. But, what we know so far is that it will be offered with two battery options – a 40 kWh and a 52 kWh. Its maximum driving range is assumed to exceed the 400 km mark.

As of now, the Japanese car maker is eyeing to launch the electric Micra in select markets globally, by the end of this year. Moreover, Nissan has also revealed the new Leaf model, which is also expected to launch globally within FY25.

Nissan’s new lineup expansion plans have taken the automotive world by surprise. In fact, the brand also revealed two models that are India-bound. These include the upcoming C-SUV based on the Renault Duster and a Renault Triber-based MPV as well.
