The 2024 Nissan Magnite has bagged over 10,000 bookings since its introduction in October 2024. The company sold 11,676 units in December 2024, out of a reported 91,184 units in 2024. Domestic sales in December 2024 accounted for 2,118 units, while export wholesale amounted to 9,558 units.
The export wholesale of 9,558 units in December 2024 increased. It was increased by 72% year over year (YoY) from 5,561 units sold in December 2023 of the previous year and by 43% month over month (MoM) from 6,698 units sold in November 2024. In addition to a 72% MoM rise in export dispatches, the export performance increased, with YTD FY24 export growth of 63% over YTD FY23.
Nissan Magnite Variants:
The 2024 Nissan Magnite was first priced at INR 5.99 lakh ex-showroom. However, the manufacturer raised the price of the subcompact SUV by 2% after 10,000 reservations were made. Nissan Magnite is available in six variants: Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+.
Nissan Magnite Engine:
Nissan Magnite is available in two petrol engine options. A 1.0-litre turbocharged engine that produces 98 bhp of power and 160 Nm of torque. This engine unit is paired with a CVT or a five-speed manual gearbox. On the other hand, a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder engine produces 71 bhp of power and 96 Nm of torque. A five-speed automated manual gearbox (AMT) or a five-speed manual gearbox is available for the normally aspirated engine.
Nissan Magnite Features:
The revised Magnite get a new bold front grille and a modified front bumper. Boomerang-shaped daytime running lights (DRLs) are mounted on the lower bumper area, and the automatic LED headlights and a dual-purpose projector are also equipped in the car. Further, it has new 16-inch alloy wheels. The car’s revised tail lamps at the back have a smoked look and distinctive ornamentation. For this new version, the back bumper has also been redesigned.
