The Indian two-wheeler market is quite booming and almost all the scooter and motorcycle manufacturers are launching products in different segment all year round. However, the month of August appears to be quite busy, as multiple launches are likely to be seen. So, here are all the two-wheelers that are going to be launched this month.
BSA Goldstar 650
When Classic Legend a motorcycle subsidiary of Mahindra, revived BSA (Birmingham Small Arms), many old-school motorcycle enthusiasts were ecstatic. Later when the brand announced the launch of the BSA Goldstar 650, many enthusiasts delved into the nostalgic charm of the bike which was originally sold between the 1930s and 1960s. However, Classic Legends decided to only sell the BSA Goldstar 650 in the international market and not in India. Now, the company is bringing the BSA Goldstar 650 to the Indian market and ironically on the 15th August which is the Day of Indian Independence from the British. The Goldstar will directly compete with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 in the Indian market.
Royal Enfield Classic 650
Royal Enfield is also likely to introduce the new Classic 350 in India which will be based on the J1D platform. The motorcycle manufacturer has a slew of products lined up for the Indian and international market based on both its J1D 350cc platform as well as the 650-Twin platform. However, the Classic 350 will get the much needed mid-life update and is likely to come with LED headlamps and taillamps, USB charger, alloy wheels and tubeless tyres, adjustable levers and more. Expect the new Classic 350 to make its debut on the 12th August 2024.
TVS Scooter
TVS also plans to launch a new scooter for India however, the details are scarce. But, speculation is that the company is likely to introduce a facelift of the N-Torq which could come with a design update as well as updates to its powertrain. Also, the brand had been working on a CNG-powered Jupiter scooter which could make its debut on the 20th of August.
Ola Electric Scooter
OLa Electric recently released a teaser of a new scooter. The brand could be planning to unveil the new scooter on the Independence Day this year. Speculation is that the scooter could also have a new battery and frame, which leads us to believe that it is not likely to be a facelift but a completely new product. But only time will tell.
