New TVS Jupiter 125 launched at INR 73,400

The reputed manufacturer of two and three-wheelers in the world, TVS Motor Company, has declared the launch of its new TVS Jupiter 125. The 125cc scooter, the bigger and the latest addition to the TVS Jupiter range. Sporting the tagline ‘Zyada Se Bhi Zyada’, the scooter offers plenty of industry-first features.

2021 TVS Jupiter 125: Price and Colors

The new TVS Jupiter 125 starts at an introductory price of INR 73,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) and is available in 3 variants. Along with having a Drum, Drum Alloy and Disc variant, the scooter will also sport five colour options. These include Dawn Orange, IndiBlue, Pristine White, and Titanium Grey.

2021 TVS Jupiter 125: Design & Styling

TVS has designed the scooter with a progressive neo-masculine styling theme and features chrome accents for a premium look. The Jupiter 125 also sports a MetalMAXX body design, LED headlamp, and a Front External Fuel filler cap. Along with a 3D emblem and painted inner panels, the scooter also features signature front light guides, an elegant tail-lamp, and a grab-rail reflector. TVS will offer the top-spec disc variant with diamond-cut alloy wheels to heighten the overall appeal.

2021 TVS Jupiter 125: Technical Specifications

Powering the Jupiter 125 is a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled 124.8 cc engine. The motor produces 8 PS of peak power at 6500 RPM and 10.5 Nm of peak torque at 4500 RPM. The scooter comes with a semi-digital speedometer with smart alerts, average, and real-time mileage indicators. The riding experience, comfort, and handling are enhanced thanks to body balance technology, front telescopic suspension, and 3-step-adjustable rear Monotube Canister Gas charged shocks.

2021 TVS Jupiter 125: Comfort and Convenience Features

TVS has developed the ergonomics of the Jupiter 125 by focussing on the rider’s comfort and convenience. The scooter is the first to fit two full-face helmets, thanks to the largest under-seat storage capacity of 33 litres. For increased front leg space, the scooter also features the longest seat in the segment. The new Jupiter 125 ensures to carry forward the legacy of exceptional fuel economy offered by previous iterations.

The scooter sports the new Ecothrust Fuel injection (ETFi) technology for superior mileage, better stability, refinement, and durability. TVS’s new ‘intelliGO’ technology enhances the riding comfort, mileage and reduces emissions by smartly switching off the engine during idling. TVS offers the Jupiter 125 with other convenient features. These include an external front fuel filler cap, side stand indicator, engine inhibitor, all-in-one lock, mobile charger, and a front glove box.
