Tata Motors has officially commenced the bookings of the new 2025 Altroz facelift model. The updated hatchback is available from Rs 6.89 lakh onwards, offering new design, features, and more.

Tata Altroz facelift – What has changed?
The new Altroz hatchback facelift was launched recently in India. With the mid-life update, the 2025 Altroz has received a new design, which is more in line with the high-end models like Safari.
On the outside, it gets a new 3D grille, new LED headlamps, flush-fit door handles, new dual-tone alloy wheels, and a connected LED taillight with a redesigned rear bumper.
On the inside, it now features a big 10.25-inch floating infotainment screen and a 10.25-inch digital instrument console. Other key features include wireless smartphone connectivity, a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, and an improved cabin theme.
The updated 2025 Altroz is available in four variants across India: Smart, Pure, Creative, and Accomplished+. The prices for the 2025 Altroz range start from Rs 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
Powering the updated Altroz are the same three engine options as the previous model. These include a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, a 1.2-litre CNG, and a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine.
Tata offers a variety of gearbox options on the Altroz, which include a 5-speed manual, a 5-speed AMT, and a 6-speed DCA automatic.
Our verdict
Tata Altroz is a competent hatchback that offers a strong road presence, a spacious cabin, and a safe driving experience. Additionally, the 2025 Altroz has been positioned aggressively, which makes it further appealing for first-time car buyers.
