The new Mini 3-door and 5-door has been launched in India.

The new Mini is built on an all-new vehicle platform. The exteriors boast features such as a revised front grille with chrome, bigger air dams, honeycomb mesh grille for the Cooper S, round fog lamps, LED headlamps with cornering function, LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, LED tail lamps, twin-exhaust pipes, electric sunroof, etc. Owners get a long list of exterior paint combinations to choose from.
On the inside, the new Mini gets a revamped dashboard, speedometer and tachometer behind the steering wheel, big infotainment screen in the centre, leather wrapped steering wheel, engine start / stop button placed ahead of the gear stick, front row slip seats on the Mini 3-Door, foldable rear seats, colour choices for the interior upholstery etc.
The Mini Cooper D 3-door and 5-door are powered by a new 1.5L, 3-cylinder, TwinPower Turbocharged diesel motor producing 114 BHP of power & 270 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 9.2 seconds and has a top speed of 200 kmph. Engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. One can chose from three driving modes: Green for economy, Sport for enhanced agility and MID mode for a balance between sporty and economy.
The Mini Cooper S 3-door is powered by a 4-cylinder TwinPower turbocharged petrol motor producing 189 BHP & 280 Nm of power & torque respectively. the Cooper S can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 6.7 seconds and has a top speed of 233 kmph.
