New Mercedes-Benz C-Class bookings open at INR 50,000

Mercedes-Benz India has announced that the brand has commenced the booking window for the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Lovingly known as the baby S-Class and internally designated as W206. The company boasts that the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will redefine the segment. It will also strengthen the German brand’s position in the luxury sedan segment. The new C-Class is also said to set new benchmarks in terms of design, comfort and tech offerings.

2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class – Bookings Open in India

From 13th April to 30th April 2022, Mercedes-Benz customers will exclusively be able to book the new C-Class, honouring their loyalty and the long wait for the car. Also, from 1st May 2022, all other prospects will be able to book the luxury sedan by putting down an amount of INR 50,000. Customers can visit the nearest Mercedes-Benz dealership for booking enquiries. The 2022 C-Class will also be available digitally at the Mercedes-Benz India online store. In addition to this, the brand also revealed that the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class would make its debut on 10th May 2022.

2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class – Variant Highlights

Mercedes-Benz will offer the C-Class in three variants at launch – C200, C220d, and the top-of-the-line C300d. However, the brand has not officially revealed details of the variants. The car sold in the international markets comes with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged engine and 48-V mild-hybrid technology on the C200d and C300d variants. The entry-level C200 comes with a 1.5-litre, turbocharged, four-cylinder with a 48-V mild-hybrid motor. 

2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class – Top Features

Mercedes-Benz is likely to offer features such as a new dashboard with new air-conditioning vents. The car also comes with a portrait-style touchscreen infotainment system. The 11.9-inch infotainment system will come with the latest MBUX voice-assistance system. The luxury sedan is also likely to come with a 12.3-inch digital instruments cluster, and a new S-Class inspired steering wheel design. Compared to the previous model, the 2022 C-Class is also likely to be 65mm longer with a 25mm extra wheelbase. 

Mercedes-Benz will reveal more details of the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class closer to its debut.
