New Mahindra Thar Roxx 5-door SUV launch on Independence Day

Mahindra has unveiled that the all-new 5-door Thar will be called the – “Thar Roxx”. The brand has further announced that the new Thar Roxx will make its debut on the 15th of August, the Indian Independence Day this year. The Mahindra Thar Roxx will be ‘THE’ SUV, reveals Mahindra.

Exterior Features

Furthermore, the brand has also teased the new Mahindra Thar Roxx on its official YouTube Channel which reveals key details of the exteriors of the SUV. According to the teaser, the Mahindra Thar Roxx will come with a new front grille with bold and imposing slats as well as a front camera below the bonnet shutline. The Thar Roxx also comes with large ORVMs with ‘Thar’ branding, and  projector LED headlamps. The Headlamp unit also features a C-shaped LED DRL. Additionally, the brand also revealed the taillamp of the SUV which also comes with a C-shaped element reverberating well with the front.

The rear quarter panel also displays a 4X4 branding which confirms that even in its 5-door avatar the Thar Roxx will come with a 4-wheel drivetrain. Also, the Mahindra Thar Roxx gets a Thar and Roxx branding on the front quarter panel and is well differentiated from the standard car thanks to the 5-door layout. Also, the keen eyed would see that the Thar Roxx comes with C-pillar mounted door handles on the rear doors. The Thar Roxx also comes with large machine finish alloy wheels, which could be 19-inches in size and shod in MRF Wanderer tyres.

Interior Features

The Mahindra Thar Roxx is also likely to come with features such as a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, a large touchscreen infotainment as well as a digital multi information display for the driver’s instruments. The brand is also likely to offer a dual zone climate control system and rear AC vents on the Mahindra Thar Roxx.
