Ducati has unveiled a new colour shade for its naked roadster motorcycle, the Streetfighter V2. Customers can now get the motorcycle in the new Storm Green colour scheme. The other existing colour option is the Ducati Red paint theme. The new colour shade pretty much adds to the character of the motorcycle. Furthermore, the black-finished wheels also complement the shade pretty perfectly. We also get to see subtle touches of red as well.
Alongside a new paint scheme, Ducati mentioned that they have also worked on the saddle. It is now wider and has new padding. Thus, increasing the rider’s comfort. Moreover, the footpegs are also a bit higher up, thus giving more space. With the addition of the new colour, the motorcycle now looks much better. With the improved saddle with better cushioning, we expect customers to join in and experience the best at their nearest Ducati outlet.
No Changes To The Hardware
Other than these updates, there is no other addition/deletion to the motorcycle. The Streetfighter V2 continues to get the 955cc liquid-cooled Superquadro twin-cylinder engine. The engine also meets the latest Euro-5 emission norms. The engine produces 153 BHP at 10,750rpm and 101.4 Nm of torque at 9,000rpm. Other key highlights include a monocoque frame in die-cast aluminium and a single-sided swingarm. The suspension setup consists of 43mm Showa BPF front forks and Sachs rear shock absorber. It also gets Pirelli’s Diablo Rosso IV tyres. Braking power comes from Brembo M4.32 monobloc radial callipers with 320mm diameter discs.
In terms of safety, Streetfighter V2 benefits from cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, and engine brake control. For clutchless up and down shifts, it also gets a bi-directional quickshifter. There are also selectable riding modes, namely Sport, Road, and Wet. As per the news, the motorcycle will be available in the international markets from July 2022. The launch details for India are still not out yet officially.
