Citroen C3 – Highlights

Citroen has launched the C3 at a starting price of INR 5,70,500 ex-showroom. The car is available in two variants, Live and Feel. To attract a wide range of audiences, Citroen India is also offering two engine options, PureTech 82 and PureTech 110.

Both the motors use three cylinders, and the difference is the inclusion of a turbo in the PureTech 110 engine. The displacement is also the same for both the motors, which is 1,200cc. The performance figure for the PureTech 82 reads as 82 PS with a peak torque of 115 Nm. Meanwhile, the PureTech 110 produces 110 PS and a peak torque of 190 Nm. In terms of the gearbox options, both the motors only come with a manual transmission. Surprisingly, there’s no automatic on offer. The naturally aspirated motor gets a 5-speed unit as opposed to a 6-speed unit with the PureTech 110.

Citroen is offering a standard warranty of 2 years or 40,000 km on the new C3. Meanwhile, on the parts and accessories, there’s a warranty of 12 months or 10,000 km.
