Engine oil manufacturer, Castrol, has launched a new engine oil specially developed for engines equipped with the start-stop system. Called the Magnatec Stop-Start, this engine oil will try and protect the car’s engine from wear and tear due to multiple stop-starts while driving around in the city.
Wear and tear because of driving in city traffic coupled with the head dissipated during both, accelerating and braking causes a lot of friction in the engine resulting to reduced engine life. The Magnatec Stop-Start is specifically developed to help reduce this wear and tear and as a result, provide a longer engine oil life along with reducing engine damage.
