MY25 Yamaha MT-03 revealed, could arrive in India

Written by News Team

Yamaha has unveiled the MY25 MT-03, and it’s already creating a buzz among motorcycle enthusiasts in India. The updated model comes with several enhancements and is expected to hit the Indian market sometime next year.

What’s New?

The MY25 MT-03 retains its 321cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, which produces 42bhp and 29.6Nm of torque. However, Yamaha has made some subtle yet impactful changes to the bike. The tail section has been redesigned to look more compact and sporty, inspired by its fully-faired sibling, the Yamaha R3. The new “Ice Storm” color option, featuring white bodywork with vibrant blue wheels, adds a fresh and dynamic look to the bike.

Tech Upgrades

One of the standout features of the MY25 MT-03 is the new LCD negative dash with Bluetooth connectivity. This allows riders to access turn-by-turn navigation and receive notifications for calls, messages, and emails. The bike also gets an assist and slipper clutch, enhancing the overall riding experience by making gear shifts smoother and reducing rider fatigue.

Riding Experience

The MY25 MT-03 continues to ride on 17-inch wheels, with USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a single disc at both ends, equipped with dual-channel ABS. With a kerb weight of just 167kg and a low seat height of 780mm, the bike remains light and nimble, making it accessible to a wide range of riders.

Market Expectations

Yamaha has not yet announced the exact launch date or price for the MY25 MT-03 in India. However, given the popularity of the MT-03 and its predecessor, the R3, it’s expected to be priced competitively. The current model of the MT-03 is priced at around INR 4.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated model might come with a slightly higher price tag due to the added features.
