MY25 Honda Africa Twin revealed, what’s new?

The much-awaited 2025 version of the Honda Africa Twin has finally broken cover on the global stage. This iconic adventure motorcycle receives several updates, including fresh color schemes for both the ES (Electronic Suspension) and Adventure Sports trims.

New Color Schemes

  • ES Variant: The ES variant will now be available in a sophisticated Pearl Glare White shade, enhancing its aesthetic appeal within its segment. This gets a 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel.
  • Adventure Sports Spec: Adventure Sports models get treated to the latest Matt Iridium Grey Metallic finish, while retaining the elegant Pearl Glare White shade. This variant gets a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel.

Design and Features

  • Front Fascia: The updated Africa Twin boasts an updated front fascia with a signature-style headlight setup. Integrated indicators are neatly positioned below the headlight.
  • Comfortable Seating: The motorcycle features a comfortable split seating arrangement, complete with a handle grabber for the pillion rider.
  • Suspension: The base model now comes with Showa’s standard springs, while the top-tier models benefit from Showa’s electronic ride adjustment suspension system.
  • Wheels and Brakes: The adventure bike rides on stylish spoke wheels, complemented by disc brakes at both ends.

Powertrain

The 2025 Africa Twin continues to use the same robust 1048cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. It churns out a maximum power of 100.05 bhp and a torque of 112 Nm. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual gearbox or the Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) option.

Pricing

In the Indian market, the current Africa Twin starts at INR 16 lakhs (ex-showroom). While the exact pricing for the 2025 model is yet to be announced, it’s expected to be slightly higher.
