Aprilia debuted its Aprilia RS125 and Aprilia Tuono 125 models for 2025. The 125cc sports bike lineup from Aprilia has been revised. Both cosmetic and engine modifications are included in these revisions. Both Aprilias are mechanically identical. The instrument cluster is from the previous model, as are the wheels, brakes, tyres, and chassis.

The aluminium perimeter frame of both bikes is supported by a mono-shock at the rear and 40mm USD forks up front. Braking duties are carried by a four-piston calliper radially mounted on a 300mm front disc and a single-pot caliper-equipped 218mm rear disc. The Tuono has an 810mm seat height, whilst the RS 125 has an 820mm seat height. The wheel configurations on both bikes are 140/70-17 on the back and 100/80-17 on the front. These motorcycles may weigh 144 kg (kerb weight) and hold 14.5 litres of petrol.

Aprilia RS125 and Aprilia Tuono 125: Engine

The 125cc liquid-cooled engine has undergone the most significant modification. This motor produces comparable 15 horsepower at 10,5000 rpm and 12 Nm of peak torque at 8,500 rpm, and it now satisfies Euro5+ emission standards. A six-speed gearbox is paired with this engine, and in some areas, a rapid shifter is an optional option.

Both Aprilias are mechanically identical. Even the cluster is from the outgoing model, as are the wheels, brakes, tyres, and chassis. LED lights are all over, and the traction control system and ABS are standard.

Viper Yellow and Mamba Grey are the new hues for the Tuono. While Kingsnake White and Cyanide Yellow are the new colours for the RS125. Early next year, these bikes will be available for purchase across Europe. Unfortunately, Aprilia won’t be able to properly price these bikes until they are manufactured entirely in India, so they won’t be introduced there.
