Yamaha has launched the new MY24 Aerox 155 Version S at the price of INR 1,50,600 ex-showroom, Delhi. The Maxi-Sports Scooter now comes with advanced Smart Key technology, enhancing convenience as well as safety. Yamaha has announced that the Aerox 155 Version with Smart Key will exclusively be available at Blue Square showrooms. In addition to this, the brand also revealed that the Aerox 255 Version S will be available in two colour options – Racing Blue and Silver.

The Smart Key on the Yamaha Aerox 155 Version S features an answer-back capability. This enhances the ability of the rider to locate the scooter in busy and crowded environments. The Answer Back features activates and flashes the blinkers and sound a buzzer for easy identification. This helps the rider pin-point the scooter in busy parkings as well.
Through proximity detection the keyless ignition system further streamlines the startup procedure. This feature also eliminates the hassle of manual key insertion. By simply rotating a knob on the dash to its ignition position and pushing the start button, the rider can fire up the engine.
In addition to this, Yamaha claims that Smart Key also reinforces security by reducing the risk of unauthorised access or theft. The smart key system also incorporates an immobiliser function. Thanks to this, the scooter is well protected in case of unauthorised entry. The smart key also helps protect the bike when the key is out of range, providing riders with peace of mind against any potential threats.
MY24 Yamaha Aerox 155 Version S – Technical Specifications
Powering the Yamaha Aerox 155 is a 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled Blue Core engine equipped with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). The 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve motor produces 15 PS of power at 8,000rpm and 13.9 Nm of torque at 6,500rpm matched to a CVT gearbox with Traction Control System (TCS). The E20 fuel compliant engine also gets on-board diagnostics (OBD-II) System.
