The Mahindra Scorpio-N, the flagship SUV from the Indian automaker, has undergone some feature changes for the 2024 model year. The changes affect mainly the mid- and lower-spec variants of the SUV, which also see a slight increase in prices. Here are the main updates of the 2024 Mahindra Scorpio N.
Mahindra Scorpio-N Z4 and Z6 Updates
The Mahindra dealers have received a notification that as per the regular IMCR (Internal Material Cost Reduction), there will be some changes made to the lower and mid-spec variant of the SUV. The Z4 and Z6 used to get a cooled glove box, which is now deleted from the feature list. The Z6 variant is also now equipped with a monochrome 4.2-inch MID just like the Z4 variant. This replaces the previous 7-inch colour TFT unit. The infotainment system of these variants also loses on Adrenox and built-in Alexa features. The Z4 is now upto ₹34,000 more expensive than the previous version and the Z6 is now dearer by up to ₹31,000. All other variants of the Scorpio-N have also received a price hike.
Variants and Features
The Scorpio N is offered in four main trims: Z2, Z4, Z6, and Z8, with petrol and diesel engines paired with manual and automatic transmissions, and a 4WD option for some variants. The petrol engine is a 2.0-litre mStallion that produces 203hp and 370-380Nm of torque, while the diesel engine is a 2.2-litre mHawk that comes in two tunes: 138hp and 175hp, with 370-400Nm of torque.
The Scorpio N has a striking design, with a distinctive front grille, dual barrel headlamps, a large sunroof, and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. It is also loaded with advanced technology and smart features, such as Adrenox, the intelligent cockpit technology that offers over 70+ connected car features, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation, Bluetooth, USB, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto compatibility, Alexa-enabled ‘what 3 words’ navigation, Sony 3D sound system with 12 speakers, dual-zone fully automatic temperature control, 6-way adjustable powered seats, and wireless charging.
