MY24 KTM 390 Adventure details revealed via spy shots

KTM is planning to introduce the new 390 Adventure and is extensively testing the motorcycle. Spyshots from abroad revealed some of the details of the new generation ADV motorcycle. However, the motorcycle is now spied in India as well. Reports suggest that the new 390 Adventure is doing rounds in close proximation of the Chakan plant in Pune. Also, a few changes could be seen on the motorcycle such as a smaller size front wheel.

2024 KTM 390 Adventure – Spyshots

According to spy shots, the India-spec model is likely to come with a 19-inch front wheel. Recent spy shots from Europe revealed that the 390 Adventure features a new 21-inch front wheel with a combination of a 17-inch rear. However, KTM could offer this setup as an option in the Indian market for off-road enthusiasts. A 19-inch front setup is also likely to make the 390 Adventure seat height friendly and comfortable for most Indian buyers. However, the majority of the motorcycle is likely to correspond with the European-spec model.

2024 KTM 390 Adventure – Design and Features

The new generation 390 Adventure features a completely revamped design and new features on the electronics front. The front fascia is more aligned with the KTM’s Dakar style rally bike drawing its design inspiration from the KTM 450 Rally. The motorcycle also gets a larger windscreen and pronounced tank shrouds.

The tail section also appears longer and sleeker than the current model. KTM is also likely to offer a new full-digital instruments cluster, new projector LED headlamps, larger knuckle guards and gravel protectors for the front forks. Functions such as cornering ABS, Traction Control, Quickshifter etc are likely to be carry-forwarded.

The motorcycle also comes with a new chassis and engine as well. Powering the new KTM 390 Adventure is likely to be the LC4C 399cc single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling. The motor currently produces 44 Hp of power on the current generation 390 Duke.
