MY24 Kawasaki Versys 650 launched in India at INR 7.77 Lakh

Kawasaki has launched the 2024 Kawasaki Versys 650 in the Indian market at the price of INR 7.77 lakh ex-showroom. The MY24 Versys 650 comes with two new colour ways – Metallic Matte Dark Grey / Ebony and Metallic Flat Spark Black / Candy Lime Green. Apart from the new colour theme, the Kawasaki Versys 650 remains unchanged. The motorcycle will come with the some new features and the same engine, making this a cosmetic update of the bike.

2024 Kawasaki Versys 650 – New Colours

The Metallic Matte Dark Grey / Ebony colour features a black front end and grey tank with red stripes running across the sides. The red graphic also runs along the tail cowling of the motorcycle as well as the nose of the bike. The Versys 650 also comes with another new Metallic Flat Spark Black / Candy Lime Green colour. The new colour features a black body colour with grey and candy lime graphics. The lime graphics run on the sides as well as the tail section of the motorcycle.

2024 Kawasaki Versys 650 – Features

The Kawasaki Versys 650 comes with features such as LED headlamps, taillamps and LED indicators. The motorcycle also comes with a redesigned upper cowl and a new windshield. This also bring the Versys 650 in-line with the latest Versys family design. Also as an accessory, the Versys 650 features a USB outlet with high water resistance built into the cockpit’s inner cover.

The motorcycle also comes with a 4.3-inch all-digital TFT colour instrumentation with additional features including smartphone connectivity. The motorcycle also gets KTRC (Kawasaki TRaction Control), Kawasaki’s advanced traction control system that helps the rider negotiate low-traction surfaces with ease.

2024 Kawasaki Versys 650 –

Powering the 2024 Kawasaki Versys 650 is a 649cc parallel-twin cylinder engine. The liquid-cooled DOHC engine produces 67 PS of power and 61 Nm of torque. The engine comes matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike rides on 41mm upside down long travel suspension on the front with 150mm of wheel travel. The rear gets a laydown offset single-shock with remote spring preload adjustability and 145mm of travel. The Versys 650 comes with a fuel tank capacity of 21-litres, seat height of 845mm, 170mm of ground clearance and weighs 219 kgs at the kerb.
